Linux Administrator

Location: Poznań

Duties:

Installation, maintenance, development and monitoring of Linux servers (generally Debian and CentOS)
Maintaining and designing Magento hosting environments
Fixing the results of system failures
Current administrative tasks

Technical skills of a Linux System Administrator:

Wide knowledge about the construction and configuration of Linux operating systems (especially Debian and CentOS)
Knowledge about server virtualization techniques (e.g. KVM)
Knowledge about database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Ability to install and configure WWW servers (Nginx + PHP-fpm)
Ability to write scripts (Bash)
Knowledge about optimization and load balancing mechanisms (Varnish, HAProxy)
Ability to install and configure DNS servers (Bind) and mail servers (Postfix)
Knowledge and ability to configure monitoring systems (Zabbix) and server management systems (Puppet)
Proficiency in English necessary to read and understand documentation written in this language and to communicate with English speaking client
