Short description
Centuria provides a full range of integrated IT services for internet projects and businesses. We cover programming/design, implementation, management and IT infrastructure integration solutions.

History
Centuria was established in June 2006 by Maciej Kalkowski as company outsourcing IT services for small and medium computer networks management. Within the first two months Maciej received funding from measure 2.5 “Promotion of entrepreneurship” of Integrated Regional Development Operational Programme, signed first long-term contracts and employed first two employees.

Young teem of people committed to their work soon gained more clients and  generated more profits. In December 2006 Centuria was employing 4 people, in 2007 the company employed 4 more and in 2008 the number of staff reached seventeen.  

Strong emphasis on developing new technologies and individual approach to every project resulted in gaining more and more important IT clients, such as:

• Microsoft Poland,
• Beyond.pl sp. z o.o.,
• Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan
• pwn.pl sp. z o.o.

Over the first two years Centuria developed three outsourcing service departments, research department for: e-learning technologies, backup copies and television broadcast via Internet.

In July 2008 Paweł Damian, one of the first Centuria's partners, entered partnership with Maciej Kalkowski - Centuria was transformed from one-man business into limited liability company.

Founders
Maciej Kalkowski - Chairman, PhD student in Mathematics and Computer Science (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan), 7 years of experience in IT business, 2 years as a company manager.

Paweł Damian - Director, specialist in Microsoft and Cisco technologies, 6 years of experience in IT, 2 years experience in manager position.
